Earlier in the program, we talked some college football with our pal Chris Gordon. Former Redskins receivers. He'll be going out to the Rose Bowl. Just heard from Will Dawkins. I lost a bet. The bet was I thought he was going to bring up the turf. Artificial turf. Because a lot of times his move is he brings up something from a previous topic on the show, usually non-sports related. Right. And so I thought that was going to happen. Didn't happen. He loves talking about non-sports, non-w wizards. He loves talking about just

regular life. Because they are tanking. Of course. But you can't say you're tanking. I know.

That's why they're playing their best players 25 minutes. It's actually farcical that you have,

is he 18 or 19? I think he's 19.

Is he 19 bench?

Yep, 19.

Yeah.

So he's 19 years old.

He plays 25 minutes and they take him out of the game because an injury a month ago

and an injury in the off season.

And then when I said, well, what would have happened?

You know, you were like he scored 24 points or 25, 24 and 25 minutes. What would happen? I said, what would happen if you played 40 minutes? You're like, well, he scored 35 and he's like, oh, well, he wouldn't have been able to play the next game. Right. Like that's farcical. when you were 19, how many straight basketball games could you play?

Just, you know.

Well, it's a little different.

Right, but like when you were playing Summer League or whatever you did before. But the year between basically, Tray Johnson was basically like the year between you played at University of Richmond and then you went to Juko ball in California. Yeah, I'm 19. You were probably paying... 1989, it was 19. You'd probably be on court for three hours playing pickup games. I could play a long time. Of course. Yeah. So it's kind of far school that a guy who plays 25 minutes with... But the NBA, I will say the NBA is a grind because these kids played 35 games in college. I understand that. And he played one year college. So now you're going from 35 to playing, you know, 70 or 75. I get it. You're playing against more physical guys. And they're longer, longer games. Okay. They got a million commercial. Like, there's no way he's tired the next day. He could play more than 25 minutes. yes. Yes. They're just delicate with the injuries.
