I'm Hello, 13th jurors, Brandy Churchwell here with your update on the trial of Thomas Randolph.

Now, in case you missed the previous episode, Randolph is

currently on trial for murder and conspiracy to commit murder of his sixth wife, Sharon Randolph.

In May of 2008, Tom and Sharon were returning home from an evening out, and as they pulled up

to the house, Sharon apparently got out of the car, entered into the house through the door in the

garage, as Tom said he pulled the car into the garage and got parked and then entered the home

himself. Now, Tom claimed that he walked in and he saw Sharon's body on the floor and then saw

a masked intruder. There was a scuffle and

Tom said that he shot and killed the intruder and then called 911. Okay, however, there were some

inconsistencies in his story and the crime scene did not add up to what Tom was describing. So after months of

investigation, detectives were led down the dark and twisted history that surrounds Tom Randolph

and his six wives. Now, four of those wives are now dead and three of those deaths occurred

under suspicious circumstances.

In April of 1989, Tom stood trial in Utah for the murder of his second wife, Becky.

Becky's death was originally ruled a suicide by gunshot to the head, but after star witness,

Eric Tarantino came forward and told detectives about Tom's plan to kill Becky and about Tom's attempt to hire Eric as a hitman. The manner of death was changed to homicide

and Tom was charged. The Utah jury found Tom not guilty of Becky's murder and in a haunting interview outside the courthouse,

her mother, Martha DeGraw, told reporters that she thought that it was very unfair, unjust.
