Each leaf on every tree was a brownish orange color.

Autumn had arrived in Fallsville.

More importantly, it was time for the Fallsville Fall Parade,

the most beloved event of the year. The Fallsville Fall Parade was a

glorious autumn extraviganza. Each year the townspeople lined the streets

to watch the band march, the dancers twirl, and the floats

float through the autumnal downtown. Everyone in Fallsville had a special job in preparation for the parade.

Miss Julie, the elementary school art teacher, decorated the floats with the help of her students.

Susie Atkins, the baker from town square cap. students. Members of the Paulsville Nature Club swept all of the leaves that had fallen so that the street would be pristine.

And while many parades have music, performers, and decorated vehicles,

the Fallsville Fall Parade had something very unique.
