You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind,

0:15.0

a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.

0:20.0

That's the signpost up ahead.

0:21.1

Your next stop, the Twilight Zone.

The... One of the books that I refer to most when I'm doing the show is, of course, the Twilight's own companion by Mark Zichry. When he writes about the episode

0:57.7

that we're going to be talking about tonight, he offers only this three-sentence review.

1:04.5

The whole truth was an odd choice, both for videotape and for the Twilight Zone. Although the used car lot is supposed to be outside,

Thankfully, in unlocking the door to a television classic, Martin Graham's

1:29.0

Jr gives us a little bit more to work with but not much. One of the main bits of trivia

1:43.4

Aborted Mr. Bemis television series.

1:47.0

Now if you remember way back when Luke presented an episode about Mr. Beamus,

1:52.0

it's one of the season two episodes of the Twilight Zone.

1:56.0

And it was at one point supposed to be a television series about the misadventures of this character Mr. Beemus.

2:02.6

And in one of those proposed episodes, Mr. Beemus was to be blessed by a guardian angel

2:09.6

and as a result he only told the truth for 24 hours and in another one Mr. Beamus was to be a used car salesman and hilarity in shoes.

2:22.3

So we have Mark Zickri who doesn't even dignify the episode with a proper review

2:28.3

and we have information from Martin Grams Jr. that it was based on unused material for a series based on one of the most poorly reviewed Twilight Zone episodes of all time, Mr. Beans.

2:43.2

So it's not a good omen at this point and there's really not much in the way of trivia for this one either.
