We're live in our makeshift basement studio here in the basement of Lutheran Church of Hope under the chapel here in West Des Moines.

Emily, we are in the Book of Romans and Ezra too in the Old Testament.

We're going to talk about both today.

Yeah. But Romans is, I'm not cool enough to say it's the bomb, but it's awesome. Yeah. It's really,

it's an amazing. It is, it is as deep as it gets in scripture. And yet there's some just

really wonderful applications. And it's so fun to read it

in its totality instead of pulling verses out. So yeah, let's get into it. But let's introduce our

wonderful panel of pastors. Yeah, we're ready to dive in. We have Scott Rains. Hi, Scott.

Hello, Emma. How's Ankenny? Ankeny is great. We're in the middle of graduation season, so we were gone all weekend celebrating my daughter's graduation from college.

This weekend is high school graduation, so fun times.

I was just going to say before we get to Pat, Scott texted me a picture of the liturgy from, was it Carthage College,

a Lutheran-related college where your daughter's graduating at the baccalaureate.

And it was just really fun to see the kind of, you know, tugged at my heartstrings.

It takes us back to the old traditions.

Well, I think it's day three of summer.

Of summer. And I think parents are freaking out. Yeah, I'm with them. I'm in that boat. They went shopping on Sunday or Monday, and they found that there's no food in the fridge on day two. That's it. Well, especially with four growing boys in your household, right?
