route of the old pilgrim trail from Glasgow Cathedral to Whethorn. I'm Mark Stephen.

And I'm Rachel Stewart. In episode four, we left you on the beach at air. After hugging the coast

for a bit longer, the route then heads inland towards Mabel. Which is where Cross Regal Abbey sits.

Now, this was once a very, very significant stopping off place for pilgrims. And now it's sadly

ruthless.
