What a fantastic interview with an epic, amazing, tremendously accomplished creator.

Willis Portasio is one of the finest illustrators, storytellers,

character designers in the history of all comic books.

When we were all breaking in together,

Wills had already kind of jumped to the fore.

He was already kind of established as Todd McFarland and Jim Lee and I were

kind of making it into the business. But if you pulled Mark Silvestri or Jim Lee or Todd McFarron, any of us,

we would all tell you, Wilson is the artist, artist. They'd say, oh, oh, yeah, it's Will's

Wilson, he pencils, he inks,ks he colors he paints uh there is nothing

in his range that he cannot do and has not accomplished from his breakout work on the punisher

to then x-factor and of course x-men and we are both part of that big mutant revolution that's going on in

the late 80s, early 90s. And it really occurred to me as I'm listening to Wills, we have our

ex-office experience, our Image Comics experience, then our Heroes Reborn experience.

It's amazing. I'm super proud to have been linked with wills through so many giant moments

over over the course of comic book history and we had a great chat you're going to hear about
