Nothing's more exciting than starting with poll results.

Let's do it.

Okay, so in 2013, Time Magazine and Qualcomm, they partnered to do a survey.

They polled more than 10,000 people across 17 countries to find out some views about invention and inventiveness.

And there are some interesting questions here.

We might want to come back, too, in the future about public opinion about how invention happens.

But they ask people to rank as one of the questions here, what are the most important inventions of all time?

And three got singled out in the results here.
