0:47.6	New Mexico, on what was supposed to be just a typical day. That was until Ruka pulled up what

0:56.3	along the west side of the trail. Now, at first Christine thought her dog had simply pulled up a
1:02.2	deer or some other animal bone. But when she sent the photo off to her sister, a registered nurse,
1:09.1	she was quick to tell her that it wasn't the bone of an animal.
1:13.7	It was the femur of a human being.
1:16.9	Christine immediately notified the local police.
1:20.8	As they descended upon the West Mesa area, they had no clue that this one little discovery
1:26.2	was about to uncover what was later called New Mexico's most heinous crime.
1:32.0	Because as they started digging and days turned into weeks,
1:36.3	investigators uncovered not just the remains that belonged to the femur that Christine and Ruka found,
1:41.9	but the remains of at least 10 other women and one unborn baby,
