As I've talked about in earlier episodes of nocturne,

a part of my fascination with night and darkness

is the way our relationship to darkness can shift over time.

One of the main ways that this happens is by walking into the dark, both literally and metaphorically. By walking toward the thing that scares us the most, or causes the most pain, we have the potential to almost magically transform it into something completely different.

I think that my relationship to the darkness changing story starts when my migraine started.
