Their heartfelt dynamic lyrics and verses will be shared through music and poetry, threading together a wide range of emotions. Putting this together was a

collaborative effort, and I really sincerely appreciate the time and energy of the individuals

involved in creating this mix. Also, big time thanks to you for sharing your time, open mind,

and attention.

Before we start, I want to acknowledge that I am creating and producing this podcast on the

unseated ancestral lands of the Duwamish people.

The land that I occupy is on the traditional territory of the coast-sailish peoples.

I honor the indigenous traditions of the ancestors and also the people still here today, who carry

those traditions forward.
