I want you to take your copy of the Word of God,

and if you don't have a Bible with you this morning, it's all right, I'm going to read from it,

but I want you to try to look off somebody else's copy.

So if you need to scoot down the road, get next to somebody that's got a Bible,

so you can follow along please do that i want you to open your bible to the book

of daniel if you will in the old testament and i bring your attention in this hour to daniel chapter number

five now daniel's an amazing book for many reasons there's a lot of politics in daniel let me just

tell you it sounds a lot like the day and age we live in. And there are lots of kings,

lots of leaders, and frankly, lots of foolishness. There's still a lot of that, isn't there?

And Daniel had to deal with all of this, you see. And one of the things that I have learned and been

reminded of reading through Daniel again is that the politicians don't have all the answers.

God has all the answers.

And what we really need is not just a certain type of leader.

What we really need is we need the Lord.

We need divine intervention.

Daniel's a reminder of that.
