Let's open the Word of God together, would you please, to the book of beginnings, the book of Genesis again?

And I want you to find Genesis chapter number 14.

Now, if you were in the Bible study hour, you know that we began with the story of Abram.

And by the way, I have a hard time saying Abram.

But I have to say it because to this point in Genesis, he's not Abraham. By the time I

finished preaching this morning, we're going to have him Abraham. That'll help us the rest of the

week, all right? So we're going through a great name change here in just a little bit. But he is

Abram at this point. And in Genesis chapter 12, he has his encounter with God. Would you look at me

just for a moment? You cannot meet God and be the same. You can go to church and be the same.

You can listen to a preacher and be the same. You can have some emotional experience and be the

same. But if you really meet God

if you have a head-on collision with the creator God of the universe I'm telling you you

cannot be the same and in Genesis chapter 12 God started changing everything in

Abrams life you think you think he just changed his geographical location because

he said leave home and head to a land you don't know I want to tell you what God was in Abrams' life. You think, you think he just changed his geographical location because they said
