Thank you. prayer that the message will be a help to you today. We've had a great time in the gospel according to Mark this week, and I want you to open your Bible with me again, if you will.

Let's see how fast you can get there tonight.

To the gospel according to Mark, to Mark chapter number 11.

Now we're coming near the end of the life of the Lord Jesus.

When you get to Mark chapter number 11, he's drawing nearer to the cross.

By the way, the closer you get to the cross, the more serious things get.

And in Mark 11, Jesus is preparing for what we commonly refer to as the triumphal entry.

That's when Jesus was presented to the nation of Israel.

Remember, he rides in on this donkey.

We're going to see it in just a moment on a colt.

And he's presented to the nation of Israel as their king, and of course they're going to reject him.

And because of that, he is going to go to the cross.

And then the Bible says that the gospel comes to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
