It is our prayer that the message will be God together to Psalm 85. We were here last evening and began our study of this amazing revival Psalm, the opening verses. We're going to pick up right where we left off in just a moment. I was thinking earlier today, there are certain scriptures that particularly speak to the subject of real spiritual awakening, of revival.

This is one of them. There are other psalms that are, might I say, revival psalms. Today we

published on our website, an article by a friend of mine who wrote a book on one of Asaph's Psalms, Psalm 73.

That's another revival Psalm. And you'll find them scattered throughout. And I think there's a

reason for that because, and listen to this just a moment, the Psalms get us looking back to God.

In other words, they bring our perspective back to the Lord.

And really, that's where revival must always begin.

I'm going to begin by reading in verse number one,

Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
