The We're going to be in Philippians chapter one again this evening.

Philippians chapter one in your Bibles.

And we're going to be reading verses 19 through 21 to start with. We've been talking about this letter to the Philippians from the Apostle Paul as he was

imprisoned. And tonight as we begin reading in verse 19, the Apostle Paul and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit says,

For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the spirit of Jesus Christ.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed.

But that with all boldness as always,

so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body,

whether it be by life or by death.

For to me to live is Christ,

and to die is gain.

If you Google statistics on happiness in America, here are some of the headings that you

would find.

There was a 2019 article, and the heading was the sad state of happiness in the United States.

A 2020 article, Americans are the unhappiest. They've been in 50 years.

2022, American happiness hits record low.

Now, one might say, well, those are all post-pandemic numbers,

2019, 20, and 22.
