If it were a chapter, it would be the longest chapter in the Bible.

Technically, it is not a chapter, it's a Psalm.

Literally, the Psalms were hymns of the Hebrews.

This was their songbook, if you would. And Psalm 119 is the longest of the Psalms. It has 176 verses in it. You heard pastors say last night with a young lady around here

who's memorized all 176 verses. That's quite a feat. It takes a lot of work to do that.

There's a theme in the 119th Psalm, and that is the

Word of God. As a matter of fact, of the 176 verses, 174 of them refer to the scriptures in some way.
