While He can move us from emptiness to fruitfulness, the amount of this fruit directly depends on how much you allow God to work on you. As the Lord’s branch, are you flourishing today? Today, on the weekend pulpit, we are happy to share a full-length Bible message given through Scott's pulpit ministry. These messages were recorded live in a local church or gospel event in recent days. It is our prayer that the message will be a help to you today. Let's open the Word of God together in the Old Testament one final time to the book of

Josea.

1:01.9

Jose chapter number 14.

I had a friend called me today and he did not know where in the world I was or what I was doing.

1:09.7

I told him I was in Texas preaching and he said,

preaching all week from Jose 14. And immediately he got jumped through the phone. He said, that's my

1:20.4

favorite chapter of the Old Testament. You don't hear that very often, but I hope it's become or

1:26.3

becoming one of your favorite chapters of the Old

1:29.0

Testament. It truly is a great revival chapter. How many of you've been reading through

1:33.8

Josea this week? You've been reading through it. That's great. Well, I'd like to encourage you to do

1:38.1

something. Keep that going the rest of this week. Let's just make this week our week in this

1:43.5

little book of the Bible.

1:45.1

And even when the meeting concludes, keep reading. And if you want to take one chapter,

1:49.3

just read it and reread it, reread it, reread it, read Jose chapter 14. I'm telling you,

1:53.2

it's like a deep mind. Every time you roll your sleeves up and crawl into that diamond mine,

1:57.7

you come out with more riches. Isn't that just like our infinite God?

2:01.4

You cannot exhaust a God who is endless. There is no searching of his understanding. There is

2:08.8

no exhausting of his truth. One author I saw just today said, Jose 14, is like a rainbow

2:16.0

put over the flood of Josea.

2:19.0

I think that's true.
