Would you open the word of God with me again to this amazing book of Hosea?

I might say the gospel according to Hosea.

It's all right to call it that because this really is the gospel message.

It's a picture of the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus and the love of God and forgiveness and mercy and grace and the peace that comes through reconciliation.

Aren't you glad we have the Savior?

That's what Josea is all about.

When you come to Josea chapter number 12, you come to our Lord's very deep words to his people.

We're looking at the end of the book. Everybody see where we are? We started near the beginning and

we're getting close to the end. By the final meeting, we'll come to the very end of it all.

The deeper you go in this book, the deeper you get into the heart of god and frankly the deeper god digs into all of our hearts i

want to stop and pray right now search me oh god and know my heart Try me and know my thoughts

and see if there be any wicked way in me

and lead me in the way everlasting.

You get in meetings like this and you think,

well, I hope she's listening.

She really needs this sermon.

I hope he gets this.
