But first before we get to our top stories let's take a look at what's expected in the markets this week.

The U.S. Economy will be in the spotlight this week with the Federal Reserve's Policymaking

Committee meeting on May 2nd and 3rd, and with updates due out on construction spending,

factory orders, jobless claims, and the headliner at the end of the week, the April jobs

report. The Employment Report is expected to show non-farm

payrolls moderated to more than 175,000 job ads in April, down from over

236,000 in March.

That level would imply a six-month moving average job growth of around

All the economic data is expected to lead to another volatile week for the Treasury yields. As for the FOMC meeting, futures trading implies an 84% chance of a 25-point rate increase and 16% for no rate change at all.
