community organizer. His fiction has appeared in Lightspeed, Asimov's,

Clark's World, Apex, Strange Horizons, and the Minnesota Review, among others.

His YA debut novel, The Art of StarBing, will be published by Harper Collins in 2017,

followed by The Break from Echo Press in 2018. His stories have been nominated for the

Nebula World Fantasy, Theodore Sturgeon awards, and he's the winner of the Shirley Jackson Award.

He lives in New York City.
