I never forget in 1989.

I came to California.

God had given me this vision to be a discipller and a soul winner.

He said, I'm going to bless you to reach thousands.

That had been my prayer for years while I was an associate pastor with my dad.

My prayer was, Lord, make me a soul winner, make me a discipller.

And eventually the Lord led me to Northern California to accept a call to a church that had 34 members.

And that's where I started my California pastoral career.

And so I went to them, told them this vision, God's going to bless us to reach thousands.

I started on Easter of 89 by the summer of 89.
