Turn please in the scriptures to two openings, 2 Peter 3 and 2 Timothy 2.

2. Peter 3, 2nd Timothy 2.

We began a few weeks ago on a series we're calling the way out.

The way out. way out and it deals with repentance and if you know much about it you know that's a very good thing hallelujah and it is the way out.

In 2. Peter the third chapter in the ninth verse,

2. Peter 3.9 said,

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise.

As some men count slackness.

But he is long suffering to usward.

You know, that's one of the things I am most impressed with him about,

is his patience in long suffering.

I mean, the more you learn about it, it is absolutely amazing.

I mean, your patience can be shot, gone, and his is barely beginning.

It's amazing.

He'll say something, and sure enough, it'll come to pass.

Nine hundred years later.

It's amazing.

It's amazing.

And sometimes you look at other people and you'll think, God, why do you put up with that?

Why don't you do something about that? But you better be glad he's that way. Because he's also that way with you. And me, he's long

suffering. Notice this, not willing that any should perish.

Say that out loud, he's not willing.
