Summary

This past Sunday, Pastor Jon continued our The Way of Jesus series with "The Way of Remembrance." He taught that remembering who God is and what He has done is one of the most important parts of our discipleship, while one of the enemy's greatest schemes to destroy our faith is to have us forget. Pastor Jon urged us to remember Jesus, our salvation, and our mission as believers by setting the Lord before us in every moment, always thinking of Him, just as He is always thinking of us.

0:03.6	Wanted to take a moment just to say thank you to everybody who listens along to this podcast
0:08.6	around the city and around the world. We really had a remarkable year in the history of our church
0:15.1	this year. We've seen more people come to Christ than ever. And God is drawing near to our church. And I just wanted to just say thanks for
0:24.1	being a part of our listening and online community. And to remind all of you that we are doing an
0:30.3	offering this year called Living the Liturgy. Every week in our church, we say a liturgy asking God to
0:35.6	form our hearts out of mammon, greed and overconsumption
0:38.8	into being people who live by faith, give generously and trust the Lord with our finances.
0:44.9	And I just wanted to invite those of you who are part of our online community to consider giving to that.
0:50.6	We are getting ready for another really amazing year here in New York and we are so grateful for
0:57.7	the encouragement, prayers and support that we hear from so many who listen into this.
1:02.1	So I would ask you just to consider praying and asking the Lord if he would have you be one of
1:07.7	our partners who help the mission of God continue through New York City.
1:12.8	We wish everybody who listened would come and move to New York and join us, but we realize
1:17.2	that's not everybody's call and it's not possible. But you can join us in prayer and support
1:23.9	and enable what happens here in the city to be a part of your ministry legacy
