| 1:16.0 | Hello, thank you so much for having me. I am a fan of CinemaSense and this is very exciting. |

| 1:29.0 | I'll start off with the very basic thing. Tell us what The Water Man is about and what was your inspiration for this story. |
| 1:39.0 | Yeah, so I want to, I'm a writer, so I can't help but tell a little bit of a story. |
| 1:47.0 | So I wrote this script when I moved out to LA. It was like three years after I had moved and it was a pretty rough transition. |
| 1:55.0 | I was a broke college grad and I did no soul. I had no connections whatsoever. |
| 2:01.0 | And writing became a way for me to feel empowered creatively. |
| 2:07.0 | But I knew I needed some help in writing it because I had written five really bad screenplays at that point and I couldn't crack the code. |
| 2:15.0 | And so I started taking evening classes at UCLA Extension where I learned how to write. |
