When did you get to go home for any period of time?

After our, that first deployment, I came home for a few months and I got to take 30 days of leave, so I got to spend time with her, and we had two kids at the time.

But I'm not going to lie, I was dealing with a lot of my PTSD, so I wasn't really there.

Tell the audience what that is.

PTSD is post-traumatic stress disorder.

It's when you're in stressful environments and it's constantly your life.

It changes you, doesn't it?

It changes the way that your mental state is.

I was dealing with a lot to the point where I ended up drinking heavily.
