Hey, everyone. This is Robin. This is Luke. And this is Christoph. And we are here today to introduce

0:05.6

part three of our special edition story, The War. This is the third and final part of the origin

0:12.7

story of Lissette and how she came to meet Harlequin. This is a nice, exciting one. It builds to a

0:19.7

really good climax, but it starts out with a big time jump, which was an interesting

0:27.5

challenge when we were making this.

0:29.5

For the case you need a reminder, this is a story from that we originally produced 12 or 13 years

0:34.8

ago that we were releasing.

0:36.4

And prior to this, all the

0:38.0

audio dramas and stories we had told had just been kind of linear, taking place within,

0:43.6

like, a set time frame. And this was the first time that we needed to jump ahead in time in the

0:48.8

story by like... Several years. What is it? Six, seven years or something. Yeah, you'll hear it.

1:11.2

We're forgetting already how much time it is. But it was an interesting challenge to solve of how do you jump forward in time in an audio drama? Yeah. And I think what we sort of landed on is, and you'll hear this in the episode, it's kind of, it's almost like an 80s, like, training montage. Like we have this like,

1:12.1

that's a good analogy. We had this like really sort of like uplifting groove song that kind of

1:16.0

plays throughout the entire scene.

1:17.4

And then, uh,

1:18.4

we just kind of weaved in, um, little snippets of dialogue here and there.

1:24.1

Little vignettes almost.

1:25.3

Yeah, little mini scenes that each one has like a little

1:28.2

sting of effects and a little bit of dialogue from from our actors. And it actually works really

1:33.9

well. Listening back, I was like, man, this, this is like really convincing. And it made me like

1:37.7

excited to hear the rest of the episode. Like, oh, yeah, what's going to happen once we land in the new,

1:42.4

you know, in the new time era. And I also think that it was good practice for us in terms of like weaving in little snippets
