Maybe we're going to talk a little bit about politics and should pastors and ministry

leaders be politically engaged, vocal, and involved.

But before that, maybe quick introduction, 10,000 foot view,

your life, introduction, who you are, for those who don't know.

Yeah, you know, I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and I actually cut my teeth

in the political world.

I was a lobbyist.

I worked for the State House of Representatives, worked for a number of congressional gubernatorial Senate campaigns.

How old were you like in those days?

You know, that was real young.

It was 18, 19, 20, 21.

In a lot of ways, politics is a young man's game because you're just on the road all the time working crazy hours

And I really thought that I would do that for the rest of my life. I'd plan to move to Washington DC and work for the

House of Representatives here on the East Coast. And God had other plans, somehow ended up in full-time ministry as a young adult pastor at
