Hello, thank you for joining me today for Give Him 15. I read recently of a retired NFL

quarterback who has never been married, but has eight children from three women, and once more.

He is a male, but not a father.

Roughly, 40% of children in America are now born to unmarried parents.

And the absence of a father correlates with higher rates of poverty,

teen pregnancy, youth crime, and substance abuse.

America's problems start at home, and many of them begin with the men.

Far too many men have had manhood defined to them by TV, not by a healthy father. As we all know,

siring kids does not make one a man or a father. In today's post, my friend Kenny Price discusses America's struggle with masculinity,

pointing us back to God's plan. Today's title is The War on Masculinity. Kenny says there is a war on masculinity. In the tumult of our age and culture,

there's a strong need for men to rise, stand firm, and embrace the full measure of their God-given

masculinity. God breathed his nature into both men and women,

bestowing upon us a sacred mantle of strength, honor, and purpose. Yet, in a world ensnared by confusion and distortion, the crucial call for men to walk

boldly and their God-given masculinity has suffered and has never been more urgent. It seems that every society struggles to define appropriate roles for its men,

Kenny says, without a clear understanding of who men are and what they're intended to do,

they become confused. And confused men create major problems.

In America today, if you're breathing and paying attention,

you can see that there is a war on masculinity,

a movement to neuter manhood.

But when you try to make men more like women, you don't get less toxic masculinity.

You get more. The answer to toxic masculinity isn't less masculinity. It's true godly masculinity. The growing problem in today's society isn't that men
