Our episode today is called The War Between the States and the Federal Government.

Ever since Franklin Delano Roosevelt started the huge growth in the federal government, that

growth has often been at the expense of and to the detriment of the public and the states.

It's that expansion that has led to the bloated monstrosity that we see as the federal government today,

which overtaxes, over-regulates, and frankly overspends the tax money that we all send to Washington.

Now, the main fighters against this dangerous growth in control have been the state governments.

And that means the Attorney Generals of those states, folks like Alan Wilson, who is starting

his third term, in his third term as Attorney General of South Carolina. He is a veteran of both the legal

profession and the veteran of arms, besides being a judicial clerk. And having been a civil

litigator in private practice, he was also an assistant solicitor general, an assistant

attorney general, and of course,

has been the attorney general since I think 2011, and in fact is a major in the South Carolina

National Guard and got a combat action badge for leading troops under fire in Iraq. So, Alan, welcome to the show. I appreciate
