Welcome to the Great Albums podcast. I'm Bill, and today we're talking about the Walkman's 2012 release, Heaven. What we do here every week on the podcast is take an album of music and talk about what makes it great.

0:32.3

We try to have the conversation around the music that fans do, and we cap it all off with a

0:36.9

track-by-track review in which we talk

0:38.9

about the things we love about the songs and the things we think about while listening to them.

0:43.7

Regular listeners of the show will notice that Brian's voice is not joining me right now in the

0:48.6

intro, but rest assured he does join us for our conversation.

1:38.7

with, you know, he and I were hanging out with guitars in hand, just kind of showing each other

1:42.6

some songs and stuff and having a lot of fun with that. So before we get to our conversation with Chris, I'm going to give

1:49.8

you guys a little bit of a background on the Walkman so that we're all on the same page on names,

1:55.4

dates, and places that during the conversation, I like to prefer not to have to explain that every

2:00.3

single time.

2:00.9

So we do it right here up top.

2:02.7

So the Walkman formed in the year 2000 out of the ashes of previous bands,
