Happy election week, Eric. We're here. We made it.

Hopefully it's only a week. You know, I used to live in a country called the United States of America, whereby like 10 p.m. or midnight, sometimes on a crazy year, 2 o'clock in the morning. You'd know who the winner of the election was. Don't toss 2,000 at me. That was close. One state. It was a thing. It was an anomaly when it happened, Bush v. Gore, and we didn't really know for a good long time who the actual president was. I fear now that's going to be more often than not as we go into the future. Now that we, you know, over 70 million people have already voted. I don't even begin to understand what election day means anymore. That's step one. We've watered down what tomorrow

means. My producer said, happy election week. Fingers crossed, maybe we'll know by the end of

the week. Who the next president is. And yet here we are in a nation over 240 years of age,

done this many times before, somehow

can't figure out how to vote anymore. I know COVID, it's different, social distancing.

We want people to have a different way to express themselves. I understand all of that, but

most of this heartache and consternation that we're

feeling about this week and tomorrow and election day, we've brought upon ourselves. We know

how to elect presidents in this country. Come on, Eric. Well, Eric says the proof is in the pudding. We've had 45 of them. Actually, 44, if you count just

individuals, but we've had 45 administrations and 44 presidents. That tells me, for a good

long time, we had this thing down. We knew how to do this. I'm not quite, I don't quite understand

why we've drifted so far. But I'll tell you this, I'm not going, when this is done,
