All right, we're going to start the show a little different than we usually do. I've got a few things to say, and then we'll hit the music and we'll do it properly.

I just want to say before, sort of a pre, before I say what I'm going to say, if you're just

tuning into this show, you're not that familiar with this show. This is not a show on a mission.

And I am not a host who comes in here every day trying

to convince you that you should agree with me on anything. So that's not the spirit of this,

but there are listeners who are going to expect me to give them my two cents on what went

on yesterday in Minnesota. And I should because I will let you know

that the truth is I barely got any sleep last night. I have not been this worried about my country.

I would say since 9-11. And I'm a little worried because that was used against me by the government. That was seen as a, you know, never let a crisis go to waste. We can get some plans through. Eric and his kind are very worried, so let's use this opportunity. So that makes me even, you know, more frightened. Yesterday, the shooting happened as about the time we came on the

air, probably a little bit before. I came in thinking it was going to be more about Venezuela

than anything else. And so as I was watching the video, I was watching it not on full screen

on my laptop just inside of a story or I was watching it off a phone.

And then I got home and my wife hadn't seen it.

So I went down into, you know, where I watch movies and stuff.

So I watched it on a very large screen.

And I was stunned at what I saw and immediately saddened and again let me just say if you

disagree with me that's fine we used to celebrate that in America I don't know if that's so true

anymore so I'm just telling you what I saw and what I feel. And I've seen now a few more

angles. And when I say that I was up all night, I don't mean that I was up all night watching Fox

and CNN. And it wasn't like that at all. It was, I'd seen that video. And it just began to haunt me all night long. I don't know that I've

seen anything that horrific since 9-11. But if you think about the towers falling, you know,
