Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.

Now, we see this phrase all over the book of Jeremiah.

This whole book that we have in the Bible and other books we

0:39.2

have in the Bible are there because people heard God speak and did what he said to do, wrote what

0:46.7

he said to write, said what he said to say, but they all listen to God's word. This is the whole

dwelling in us, guiding us, directing us all day long. So all the more so, God, we pray that you

1:58.9

would help us to be sensitive to your voice.

2:02.4

Through your word, God help us to meditate on your word day and night, to hide it in our

2:08.4

hearts, to turn it over in our minds all day long, to fill our minds with your word.

2:13.3

God, we pray knowing that we have unprecedented access to your word. In our language, God, we pray, knowing that we have unprecedented access to your word in our language.
