I want to turn to Mark 10.

You guys know enough about how to do that by now.

You don't have to have some kind of formal invitation to give. You came ready to give.

I know you that well. I just, I'm going to ramble a little bit tonight just in light of what I feel the Lord doing as it relates to love.

And the scripture tells us that the love of God constrains us.

And there is something beautifully, incredibly violent about the love of God.

And it's important that we don't categorize love. You know, the example I live because of the home I live in

is the Hallmark Channel.

Every time we think of love, I think sometimes we think of love

in the sense of, you know, romanticism. And that's not actually

what agape means. That's present within agape, but agape or God love has, and charity's not even a good

enough word. But agape is an other centeredness. And one of the ways that I can always tell that somebody's

encountering the real gospel and really being ambushed by the love of God is the love of God is

the love of God is constraining them and there is this process of detoxing from everything that is not love.

I think it was George McDonald that may not have been, but I think it was George

McDonald that quoted that God sends judgment toward everything in us that is not of

love's kind. That doesn't look like love and feel

like love and act like love and so there's something about the love of god when it comes after the

heart and i'm approaching a personal spiritual anniversary of march third fourth and fifth
