etiquettes of the dua that we're speaking about but brought in the lesson a bit. Is it okay for a

person to instead of saying, Allahumma illaqa'afu'wan to habbala'afu'afa'afu'ani to say, Allahumma illaqa'afu'wan to habbala'afu'afa'afu'ani.

Is that okay? Can you replace the name there?

Of Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, in that dua. Technically, there's nothing wrong with it but you'd be missing out on some of the benefits of it.

When you go into your salah, when you go into your sujood, could you replace Subhan'a Rabbi al-A'la with Subhan'a Rabbi al-A'leem

and do the same in the Quran, do Subhan'a Rabbi al-A'la in the Quran instead of Subhan'a Rabbi al-A'leem?

No, because actually once it's within the salah, then it follows the rules of the salah.

It becomes fixed. So the affair of du'a, of actual supplication, open supplication, is far more vast,

whereas that which is tied to another fixed form of ibad, another fixed form of worship, is more fixed.

And so when you are in your sujood, for example, if you said Subhan'a Rabbi al-A'la, and then you wanted to make other du'a's in the sujood in your tarawih,

that's fine in inshanAllah ta'ala. But still you'd follow the Sunnah method.

Now when it comes to Subhan'a Rabbi du'a, that we make particularly for the last tonight of Ramadan.

The famous du'a, ash-Allah, ta'ala on her, asked the Prophet, salallahu alayhi wa salam.

Ya Rasulullah, if I know that I'm in Leyla til Qadr, then what should I say in the Prophet salallahu alayhi salam,

to say Allah ma illaqa a'fuhun to habul a'fua fa-afwa'ani.

Now, there is another variation of this

that sometimes you might hear.

Does anyone know what that variation is?
