Carrie Ward decided to read the entire Bible with her preschool-aged children, one chapter per day.

Then she figured out how long her plan would take.

And so I actually got out a pen and paper and did the math on it, and I factored in days that we might be sick or we might not be able to read.

It was going to take me eight years to read the Bible, and that was overwhelming.

When we started to read, I'm sure I told them today we're going to read the Bible and I thought they would be

really excited and they were sort of not understanding what was going on. But I began to read,
