to walking as fitness, first off, welcome. Glad to have you. Secondly, I love walking.

I'm passionate about walking. That's one of the reasons why I do this podcast.

It's to motivate as many people as I can to use walking as a fitness activity and to begin a brand new fitness journey using walking and to do it in a way that sticks.

Because so often we get excited about fitness,

we begin pursuing it, and within usually a couple of weeks that excitement fades and what

ends up happening is that fitness falls by the wayside. I don't want that for you. I don't want

that for anyone. And I think walking is the perfect, perfect way to begin a brand new fitness journey

and to create a habit and then build momentum and then eventually enjoy fitness transformation.

But the key is how you start.

And really the best way is to start small and think long.

And I've been doing it for as a fitness activity for 10 years.

Math on the fly is never a good thing. and I typically get a lot of steps last year

2022 my daily average was I think it was 19,000 there were days when it was far above that

and there were some days obviously when it was far above that, and there were some days, obviously, when it was less than that.
