Does Danny know when he gets drunk that he acts a fool?

It's a behavior that has maybe been repeated.

Why is this a thing when every single person in this friend group has done that?

Why is it a thing about my husband? It's a thing about your husband because he's making the whole group uncomfortable. And by group, I mean the audience as well because we're all watching the TV screen and we're uncomfortable by him, not by the rest of the group. When Brit Bananas or Zach or Janet or Kristen or anybody else is getting too drunk on the show, we're all not uncomfortable.

So that's why it's become a thing, Nea. I don't know what you don't get about that. Anyway, hello, everyone. Welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. I hope you're all having a wonderful week. We've had a lot going on this week. Not only we've got this new episode of the Valley, the mid-season trailer played at the end of the episode of the Valley. We also had the Summer House reunion, which I recapped earlier this week.

You could check that out. In the city is going strong. Southern hospitality is ending this week. So is my show hacks on

HBO. I'm devastated about that. But a lot is happening in the world. And by world, I mean the

television screen. And so we got a lot to catch up on.

I, for one, I'm going to say something that might be a little controversial. I said last week's

episode of the Valley was a good episode. And I'm going to go one step farther and say that actually

this season is starting to get good. That's right. That's right. It's good. I think it's starting to get good. That mid-season trailer look great.

We're getting somewhere with the chaos. It seems like they're starting to gel without jacks.

And so I'm finding the second half of this season of the Valley might be some must-watch TV.

And I love the Valley. I think I had to start kind of adjusting what I'm watching in that we're not watching an aspirational show. We are watching a show about people who are newly married, new with kids, and by and large, kind of hate their lives. And the fun part about watching is that they hate their lives.

We've talked about the opening theme song where it's like, I'm all right. And it's like none of

them are all right. But then even within the episodes, there'll be like some miserable

thing about how their husband's an alcoholic, right?

Like there's something like really dark and deep or whatever.

And then the transitional music would be like, it feels good.

Yeah, it feels good to be me.

Feels great.
