infrastructure is aging and crumbling to the point where it's making it difficult to just get on

with your job. The biggest issue we were having here when those bridges east of us were out is the

turnaround time of getting trucks back to the field.

So why then is there so much controversy about a proposed one trillion dollar spending package

that would aim to solve it? The answer? Once again, politics.

Everyone knows that the American infrastructure is in trouble and needs to be revitalized.

If we can't do this in a bipartisan fashion, I fear we can't do anything.

So can President Biden get one of his key campaign pledges passed, or will it be run off the road?

unlike anything we've seen or done since we built the interstate highway system

and the space race decades ago.

That's the pitch from President Biden about his planned $1.1 trillion infrastructure bill,

which if it becomes law, would pour much-needed resource into roads, bridges and dams.

The president has high hopes for it.

It modernizes transportation infrastructure, our roads, our bridges, our airports.

It puts people to work to repair and upgrade that we badly need.

It makes it easier and more efficient to move goods, to get to work, and to make us more

competitive around the world. When someone wants to come in the area
