Hey, everybody, Martha McCallum here, and this is the untold story. What a week it has been,

and a lot of sort of lessons and revelations, I think, in some of what's going on. And I'm very

glad to be joined today by Andrew Colvat, who you all know as one of the lead people, the executive

producer of the Charlie Kirk Show and one of the lead guys at Turning Point USA, who has been

beautifully outspoken as we all grieve the loss of Charlie Kirk.

And last night, we had an opportunity to sort of step inside the world of Erica Kirk.

And she was very generous with her time and her emotion when she sat down with Jesse Waters last night. So,

Andrew, it's great to have you with us again. And, you know, because I call this podcast the

untold story, I always like to start with something that maybe people don't know about you

and how you got to where you are right now in your life. Give us a little inside.

Yeah, I mean, I was working in Hollywood before I started working with Charlie. That's actually

how I ended up working with Charlie. I was working with Mark Burnett. People would know him from, he did Celebrity Apprentice,

which is a weird sort of full circle moment for me because I wasn't political at all.

You know, I just wanted to make movies and TV shows and then Mark started making faith-based content. And, you know,

there wasn't many Christians around where I was. And so I kind of got looped into the Bible series,

80, the Bible continues, the son of God and all of this stuff. And that ended up setting me on a path where Charlie and I's

you know lives would intersect and which is a which is a wild thing to think from a kid from

Chicago I grew up in Nevada son of ranchers Italian ranchers and rodeos and baseball and chewing tobacco.

And my dad was a district attorney when I was really little and then he just was a lawyer after that.

And so I had a little tiny sliver of political experience when I was really, really little and a small rural town and county in Nevada.

And, but anyway, so to end up in Los Angeles and then for somehow that to make it so that Charlie and I's

paths would cross is a pretty wild thing to think about.
