And today, we're going to be discussing, man, the role of women in the Assemblies of God. She's written an excellent book, kind of engaging with this topic today. ministry before we dive into the subject matter. Well, thank you for having me. Yep, my name is Dr. Joyquals.

I am a professor at Biola University in La Mirada, California. I am a communication scholar by trade, but I study

religious and political communication as well as their intersections. And I am a fourth generation

Pentecostal, born and raised in the Assemblies of God. I'm also an ordained minister in the

assemblies of God. I serve on the teaching

team at my church. And yeah, that's kind of the gist of my world. Fantastic. Well, I mean,

tell us about this book. You wrote a book, which title is not for the faint of heart. You're not

trying to win over anyone on the fence with the title for sure.

But God forgive us for being women.
