As you know, we have yet another mass shooting, mass school shooting.

The choreography and the sort of the ritualized behaviour is the same every time.

I don't even know what we call them at this point and at least the last time we were

record the podcast around noon on Wednesdays today, we're starting a little after 1pm.

So this is yesterday, something we're talking about if you're listening a few days later.

And I don't know the exact, if there's an updated fatality count as of this hour, but

last night it was 21 or 22 people, 19 students and what do you say?

This happens all the time in the United States.

It's not even the largest number of fatalities for one of these shootings in the United States.

It's up there, but again, this happens all the time in the United States.

You have this incident, this massacre in Buffalo about a week and a half ago, you know,

slightly different permutation of the, what do you call it, genre, for lack of a better word,

a racist, motivated mass shooting in a supermarket where the shooter, a young white man knew

there was a heavy concentration of African Americans.
