Retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD,

and this, of course, is police off the cuff.

You know, there's some new things going on.

No real, if you listen to the press, they say blockbuster stuff.

But there's some new happenings in the Gilgo case, of course, with Rex Ewerman.

There's enough things being thrown out there that can create doubt in the minds of jurors.

However, I think the Suffolk County DA Ray Tierney and the Suffolk County Task Force that put together

the Gilgo Beach Task Force has this case well in hand.

So as things come up, we're going to discuss them today.

And what does it mean to the prosecution of Rex Sherman?

And so far, there has been no court date or date set to begin this trial.

So no one seems to be in a rush to get this trial going.

And especially the defense, which will need so, so much time to go through all the discovery

in this case, which is voluminous, beyond voluminous.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to index all of the evidence they have at this case.

So with that said, folks, hold on to your seats where you're about to enter true crime from a police perspective.

And of course, off the cuff, the police off the cuff zone.
