Welcome to the Wednesday Bible study here from the broadcast plaza and teleport and just so honored that you would take time

To be with us. We're walking through our latest series today. It'll be part three of a series called the unsafe Christian

It is based off this book by Dean and Sarah

And it talks about you know what what Dean and and I and I agree

Believes may be the biggest unreached people group in our country

So what does he mean by an unsafe Christian? What he's talking about is something that you've heard us talk about

A lot over the years cultural Christianity. I really when I read this book it spoke to me

I thought we need to work it in to our Wednesday Bible study mainly because I'm a recovering cultural Christian myself

I was delusional about my salvation and had lived the life of cultural Christianity and I'm just so thankful

That some of the things that are talked about in this book were used to by God to reach me and to pull me out

Of this false sense of salvation and to learn what it was like to truly repent of sin

The severity of sin submit to the authority of Christ be redeemed and then start the process which continues today of

sanctification

So we're gonna jump into chapter four today and and chapter four should be it's a little different look

Then assessing with just yourself whether you or me what might be a cultural Christian

That's going to be a process throughout this entire study

But today we're going to continue yes to assess whether this might be you

But also if you're certain this isn't you but you also are surrounded by people that may be the label cultural

Christianity or unsafe Christian might apply to how do you engage them and

Conversations how do you reach the cultural Christian and so there's gonna be a lot of that in today's study

So hopefully you've got something to take some notes to listen

Maybe you've got the copy of the book and you've already unlined some stuff and we're just gonna kind of unpack it with some examples
