Laurel sipped her coffee and looked out at the dark cloud that loomed over the ocean.

So much for a day at sea. There was no way she'd be able to go on her snorkeling tour with weather like this.

Her lips drew into a thin line as she tried to push down her annoyance.

It was her first vacation in years.

Being the CFO of a large marketing company didn't give her much time to jet off to tropical islands.

A flash of color caught her eye, and she couldn't help but smile at the side of Brody

walking into the resort restaurant and a bright floral shirt and board shorts.

He looked so vibrant next to Laurel's black dress.

Her blonde hair was pulled up into a tight bun, while Brody's shaggy hair was loose and wet.

Desire tugged at Laurel.

The feeling surprised her.

She hadn't planned to meet someone on vacation.

But when she had bumped into Brody at the beach yesterday and learned that they were staying in the same hotel,

she couldn't help but picture what it might be like if they got together.

It had been a long time since she had even thought about sex, let alone have it.

Not sure snorkeling's going to work out for you, Brody said, taking a seat and leaning back easily in his chair.
