Robert has had 11 novels published starting with The Leashore in 1987.

He won the L Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest under the Pen name Robert Tousalen.

And he was also a finalist for the John W Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 1987.

He has over 200 shorter works published in a variety of magazines and anthologies.

Bob has had stories appear in at least one of the annual year's best anthologies in every year

since 1992. He's received nominations for both a Neb Award and the Hugo Award, as well as numerous other literary awards.
