It's Wednesday, March 22nd. I'm Erin Ryan and I'm wanting to tell everyone this is what a day where we're just hearing the explosive Vanderpump rules mid-season trailer will not be eligible for next year's Oscars and I'm distraught.

Vanderpump rules is like boyhood involving a whole constellation of human beings and we're not rewarding it accordingly. Come on.

The production alone when I tell you crews wrapped on the season and then turned the cameras back on to capture this moment we're about to see. So please give them their doom.

On today's show the two candidates for Wisconsin Supreme Court sparred in their first and only debate plus if you spent your childhood dreaming of living in a Barbie Dreamhouse like me there's a competition show in the works just for us.

I'm here for it. But first steel barricades had gone up around the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse and the US Capitol protesters and counter protesters had posted up from Trump Tower tomorrow.

And every national publication had its Donald Trump indicted banner headline ready for the next morning's front page. Except Tuesday came and went and there was no indictment, no purplock, no booking photo, no tiny fingerprints.

A lot of people with news cameras did a lot of standing around this after the former president posted to social media this weekend that he would be arrested on Tuesday.

Like many Donald Trump enterprises, the big blockbuster arrest, the former president claimed would happen did not deliver Aaron. When I tell you I don't trust a single thing Donald Trump types with his tiny fingers, a law and post on the on our goers internet. No less like I don't believe it. But if you can't trust a rumor started on truth social.

So what can you trust? Great question. The whole thing basically was a nothing burger, even the pro Trump protesters were outnumbered by media and counter protesters in the most high profile locations.

There was a bomb threat called into the Manhattan Courthouse which delayed proceedings for a short time on Tuesday. But that also turned out to be fake. And speaking of truth social, the president's proprietary social media platform was rejecting all new users for a while on Tuesday after a TikTok video.

I'm being totally serious here. A TikTok video encouraging people to join the site and mess with trending topics went viral. New users swarmed the site and got a Ron DeSantis 2024 related hashtag to the top of truth socials trending topics list on what was supposed to be Trump's special day.

The site responded by blocking people from joining it.

One, the kids, the TikTok crew, they're all right. And I'm here for it. Come on with the digital activism. I'm ready for more. But this also seems like it's bad for business for a website that's primary business model is on attracting more users. So they're blocking people straight up. Yeah. Yeah. When would think that would be bad business. But as his long career of failure has shown Donald Trump is bad at business.

Tuesday's law gave the usual suspects a full additional day to gear up for the indictment. Most observers seem to think is coming sooner rather than later. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has claimed that Congress will investigate Manhattan, DA Elven Bragg will make the call over any criminal charges. The Republican heads of three different committees are on the case.

Okay, this is a message for Kav and all these Republican heads of committee. You can't do anything to DA Bragg's plain and simple. This isn't federal dollars that he's working with in his Manhattan district attorney's office. So relax. And number two, Kevin McCarthy just couldn't wait to do more of Trump's bidding. Could he? Yeah. Well, here's the thing. Republican elected officials believe that their constituents are stupid. They do point blank. They truly do. I mean, this, this is a great example of them believing that their constituents don't know how to do.

But you know, even Mike Pence decided to hang in there with Trump saying that Americans don't want to see him indicted. Probably 2024 Republican presidential contender Ron DeSantis has been walking the tightrope where he calls the investigation bad without expressly defending Trump, implying in a statement that Bragg's pursuit of charges was a forum of quote weaponizing the office of DA.

And then he went to his dipto's toe into the world of messy mess, right? Like because his other statement was he didn't know exactly what went into paying off a porn star, right? Like like he tried it, but I need him to commit. You can't just have asked these types of attacks with someone like Trump. But what happens now?

Well, Anita, I'm just going to say real quick that you can always tell when someone who's never seen Paris is burning attempts shade.

Oh, name it because it's never good. Good try, Ron. But you know, it needs a little work. Well, have to wait and do better. Seriously, do better in many, many ways.

Well, have to wait and see what happens this week, maybe even later today, when the grand jury reconvenes to find out whether Trump will actually be charged or if this is our generation's waiting for a good.

Look, honestly, I keep telling people this is a big deal for a potential first indictment, but it's not the only source for indictments. Let's not get tunnel vision here because we know George is coming out with some potential recode charges.

We know the DOJ has two active investigations in a grand jury going. So a lot more is coming in. My only request is that they coordinate their calendars. Aaron, it will be magical. If we just had one day of indictments for Trump.
