So this Thursday, here in the United

States at least, we celebrate my favorite holiday of all. Thanksgiving. No commercial gimmickery,

no mystical symbolism or spokes creatures, and no goofy pageantry, just food, family, and friends.

And gratitude. Beautiful, right? As I reflect on all those things that I'm

grateful for, I want you to know that you are at the top of my list. The relationship you and I share

here right on Darren Daly is one of the most important and meaningful relationships in my life.

I started this out as an experiment, a one-year project to honor

the mentorship that I was grateful to have received from Jim Rome. We launched it on what would

have been my 20-year anniversary first meeting Jim. This is turned into something far more special

than I could ever have conceived. You are the exception. And what you have done in the world

from the ideas and inspiration that you've picked up here from Darren Daly is what inspires me

every morning and what I am most grateful for. So let me share a few that come top to mind in the hopes

Ashley, after 11 years of marriage, was suddenly and abruptly abandoned by her husband. She was left to raise three kids by
