On today's show, shocking allegations and a lawsuit filed in Harris County, Texas.

Allegations of sexual misconduct announced today in the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.

Female deputies claim they were assaulted during undercover operations,

not by the suspects, but by their superiors. I'm joined by Jason Miles, a reporter at KHOU in Houston,

Texas. Jason, the lawsuit claims this was a booze-filled playground for sexual exploitation

within the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office. Tell us what you know about this complaint. Well, for those not precinct one constable's office.

Well, for those not familiar with a constable's office, I know not every state operates this way,

but in Texas and Harris County, where Houston is located, you have a sheriff's office,

you have local police departments, but you also have constables office in each of the five county

precincts that also have county commissioners who are elected. The constables are also elected

and operate much like a police department or sheriff's agency. In this case, it's precinct one

is the constable's office in question. They also man all the courthouses downtown,

and this precinct is headquartered downtown as well.

So last year they got a grant,

and they were also funded or given money to start a human trafficking unit.
